Abstrakt: The concepts of system ecology and life-preserving transformations presented thus far can be integrated into any building process where choices are made. To illustrate, this chapter describes how these concepts can be realized in and are facilitated by the object-oriented paradigm and engineering processes associated with it. It is not the object-oriented paradigm΄s uniqueness in offering these modeling- concepts that sets it apart – for the paradigm has borrowed almost all its -concepts from other approaches. But rather, it is the coincidence of concepts in a single paradigm that offers such a pleasingly ingenious and expressive tool for expressing life. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
