Currently, the broadband networks, co-financed with the European funds, are being deployed in many different regions of Poland. In previous financing period, that took place in years 2004 - 2006, the only one broadband network, namely in Kujawsko - Pomorskie region, has been successfully implemented. In the current financing period the broadband networks are intended to be implemented in some other regions of Poland. The main goal of the regional broadband networks implementation in Poland is to fulfill the gap which appeared as a lack of investment in broadband networks infrastructure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
