A new model of neural network (the domain model) is proposed. In this model the neurons are joined together into more large groups (domains), and accordingly the updating rule is modified. It is shown that memory capacity grows linearly as function of the domain size. In optimization tasks, this kind of neural network allows one to find more deep local minima of the energy than the standard asynchronous dynamics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
