Abstrakt: The paper aims at presenting and analyzing the implementation of a Participatory Design Methodology within the large multidisciplinary European Project PALETTE. This methodology successfully enabled and supported the development and implementation of a "palette" of interoperable services dedicated to Communities of Practice in order to manage their knowledge asset, support collaboration, communication and decision making, and help to better animate the community life. Finally, it presents some lessons learnt that could be of interest for other multidisciplinary project in the Technology Enhanced Learning community. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
