Abstrakt: Major risk factors for cardiovascular disease include hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, endothelial function, and clotting abnormalities. Pycnogenol®, an extract of bark from the French maritime pine Pinus pinaster, is a clinically researched dietary supplement that counteracts several cardiovascular risk factors.
