Presents a study which examined the dynamic equilibrium between phosphorus, arsenic, and arsenic phosphide using mass spectrometry of fluxes from a double effusion cell. Ionization efficiency for the dimers P[sub2] and As[sub2] relative to the tetramers, P[sub4] and As[sub4]; Discussion on the mass action constant and free energy for the equilibrium of the formation of the chemical compound arsenic phosphide; Discussion of the study's results. |
