The article focuses Terry Clancy and his wife Belinda who run the Kaituna Bird Sanctuary which is a refuge of trees, ponds, and predator-proof bird enclosures off the main highway to Akaroa on Banks Peninsula. It informs that the first bird that came into their care was handed to Belinda at Christchurch Hospital. It informs that Belinda also runs Cedar Cottage which is a natural herbal-soap factory and shop on the property when she is not caring for the birds. |
