Presents a study that suggested several strategies for the evaluation of the barrier strength parameter of point contacts of superconductors employing data taken over a limited temperature range. Discussion of the Blonder, Tinkham and Klapwijk theory; Description of several specific situations in which the barrier strength parameter can be reliably evaluated with limited data without resorting to a full numerical fitting procedure; Conclusion. |
