Presents information on a study which produced interaction between a vircator microwave and a resonant cavity by enclosing the virtual cathode inside a right circular cylinder. Tunability of pulsed virtual cathode oscillators, or vircators; Effect of confining the virtual cathode within a smaller volume; Determination of the cavity window size; Observation on the mode structure of the cavity. |
