Presents a study which determined free-carrier effective masses in mercury telluride-cadmium telluride superlattices using measurements of oscillatory magnetoresistance. Agreement of the study findings with the predictions of band-structure theory; Details of the Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations in both n- and p-type mercury telluride-cadmium telluride superlattices. |
