The article presents opinions of experts on changes in U.S. gasoline prices that are due to market factors and not on energy or economic policies of the government. According to Ken Green of American Enterprise Institute, the U.S. is not producing so much oil to lower down oil prices while Yale economist Pinelopi Goldberg points to the tiny effect of U.S. domestic policy on the world price of oil. It also notes the comments of Steve Koonin, Michael Levi and Severin Borenstein. |
