Abstrakt: Chapter 7 of the book "Process Pragmatism: Essays on a Quiet Philosophical Revolution" is presented. It evaluates the status of the Laws of Nature within the viewpoint of Alfred North Whitehead's Process Philosophy. The persuasion which is needed as some idea of imposed law is examined. Nature is regarded in terms of permanent things according to mechanism emphasizing deterministic causality. Whitehead explained how God gives direction to the worldly process.
