Abstrakt: With increasing numbers of students needing to improve their mastery of the writing process, teachers are turning to word processing as a powerful tool to help increase fluency and improve quality. Software to build keyboarding skills is reviewed in this article. Criteria for the selection of word processing programs are discussed, and specific word processing programs are compared.
