Presents information on a study which characterized the dynamics of the plasma-erosion-opening switch with the aid of two-dimensional three-fluid simulation using the ANTHEM implicit simulation code, for plasma fill densities. Calculations performed with the implicit ANTHEM code; Electric field component produced by the passage above the cathode toward the generator; Simulations performed for a two-times larger void region downstream of the fill plasma. |
