In this report we present our finding that coating of ZnO nanostructure on solar cell enhances the performance of the solar cell. We attribute this phenomenon to antireflection nature of ZnO nanoparticle coating. An efficient antireflection coating (ARC) can enhance solar cell performance through increased light coupling. We present photoluminescence data of various ZnO particles having different emission peaks due to difference in size and surface oxygen vacancy tuned by pH. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
