Presents information on a study which described the preparation of TlBa[sub2]Ca[sub2]Cu[sub3]O[sub9±&delta] high T[subc] thin films on MgO surfaces by a combination of laser ablation from a stoichiometric Ba[sub2]Ca[sub2]Cu[sub3]O[subx] target.
