| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses court cases related to drug patents in the European Union (EU) region. It says that a decision by the EU Court of the First Instance has been reversed by the Court of Appeal due to an error of the principal in considering a patent for medical dressings. Moreover, a European Patent Office (EPO) appeal has provided new guidance for exclusion from patentability of surgical procedures done on the animal and human body. |
