Presents a study that investigated the effect of including absorption and scattering in coupled wave equations for both holographic recording and erasure in photorefractive lithium niobate. Comparison of effects with experimental observations; Experimental configuration used to examine the recording dynamics; Theoretical and experimentally measured diffraction efficiency during recording. |
