Investigates the composition of strontium fluoride thin films deposited on carbon plates by sublimation under ultrahigh vacuum. Thicknesses of the films and atomic concentrations of different components with respect to that of strontium as a function of carbon substrate temperatures; Application of channeling effect measurements; Preparation of strontium fluoride powder by substitution of chlorine by fluorine in strontium chloride. |
