Presents a study which compared methods of including the electron-electron long-range interaction on the dynamics of hot electrons in degenerate gallium arsenide under transient conditions in different hot electron transistor structures. Application of the Monte Carlo simulations to compare the methods; Description of the energy spectrum calculated for the base wide hot electron transistors; Calculation of the percentage of the injected electrons. |
