Abstrakt:	The author answers the e-mail of an instructor who asks the stand of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) regarding the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The author says that NBCC has never made a policy or position statement about CACREP. He adds that CACREP Standards were in place when NBCC was developing its first set of standards.
