Abstrakt: The article tackles the results of a 1951 study which examined the outcome of a survey of the existing conditions of the speech education program in public schools and junior colleges of Oklahoma in 1936. The results show that Oklahoma is progressing toward the goal of offering continuing developmental training in the classroom for every high school student. Data show that an inadequate teaching staff in high school still appears to be a problem facing the Oklahoma speech program as in 1936.
