We study the electron drag force acting on a moving dislocation in the presence of strong magnetic field H. We show that the drag force has a sharp minimum at phi1 = 0, where phi1 is an angle between the dislocation axis and H. The typical width of the minimum is of the order of phi1c = V/vF (V is the velocity of dislocation and vF is the Fermi velocity ). The minimum is due to the compensation of the deformation and electromagnetic contributions to the electron-dislocation interaction. For phi1 > phi1c compensation does not take place and the drag force increases linearly with increasing H. This form of the angular dependence of the drag force is in a qualitative agreement with recent. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
