The article focuses on the discovery of Charles Darwin of a new dish and the way it was cooked. Darwin was born on February 12, 1809 at The Mount in Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England and studied Bachelor of Arts degree at Cambridge University. It explores Darwin's geological tour of Wales in August 1831 aboard the Beagle, highlighting the dining habits of the people on board the vessel. Darwin's gastronomic legacy is his testing of the way animal flesh is being cooked and eaten. |
