Abstrakt: | The EXAFS studies of acetonitrile solutions of CuBr2, CuBr2+LiBr, and CuBr2+2LiBr have been carried out. The EXAFS spectra of Cu and Br edges were measured and transformed to radial distribution functions around Cu and Br ions, respectively. The curve-fitting analysis shows that the main species are [CuBr2(NCCH3)2], [CuBr3(NCCH3)]-, and [CuBr4]2- in the solutions containing Br- and Cu2+ in the Br-/Cu2+ ratio of 2, 3, and 4, respectively.
