This paper analyses the different frameworks concerning free fall presented by Mexican students and teachers in primary, secondary and pre‐university schools. Two main frameworks were found: one in which the subjects used the same phenomenology for Earth and the moon and the other in which different phenomenologies were used in each case. An evolution of these frameworks is shown as a result of the incorporation of academic knowledge. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
