| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the Kentucky's residential landlord and tenant laws and analyzes whether reform is available to breakdown the barriers to justice provided by the law. It focuses on the "territorial applications" statute which creates dichotomy in the application of landlord-tenant law. The Kentucky Residential Landlord & Tenant Act of 1974 (KRLTA) is also analyzed with major differences with the common law to ensure an equitable process for retaining and refunding security deposits. |
