Abstrakt: Few empirical studies have attempted to identify problems of teachers within the conservative Christian-school movement. However, until problems are identified and needs addressed, efforts toward excellence may be misguided and futile. The investigators surveyed a random sample of teachers from the American Association of Christian Schools. The teachers cited salaries as the most pressing problem, followed by difficulties in school administration/operation and concerns about spirituality. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
