Abstrakt: The effect of tide on composition of Venice lagoon water is studied. At this purpose the concentration of phosphate, silicate, nitrite, nitrate, iodide, bromide and sulfate has been determined for a series of samples of lagoon water, collected in the same station every two hours during a sampling time of twenty two hours. Correlations between concentration and tide behaviour are drawn out. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
