| Abstrakt: | This paper examines the performance of the Singapore press through a public evaluation of the quality and credibility of local newspapers. The findings show that the Singapore public is basically satisfied with the overall performance of the local press but the credibility of the press is questioned by the more discerning public, especially in the coverage of domestic politics and government affairs.
