The article presents information on the treatment of prisoners addressing issues of gender and sexuality by American Bar Association Criminal Justice Standards. It states growing number of women in the prison of the U.S. to be the reason behind the issue of gender and sexuality in prison. It discusses the provision of 2010 relevant to co-corrections and equal protection of pregnant prisoners and new mothers. |
