Abstrakt:	The article presents a prospective interventional study on the implementation of a visual analogue scale (VAS) for patients in an Emergency Department (ED). The study aimed to investigate the possibility of implementing VAS-scoring in acute patients over a short period of time. The data showed that it is possible to implement the use of VAS-scale for assessment of pain over a short period of time with the use of a simple strategy in a group of nurses.
