The article describes the Workers' Education and its relevance to the need of teachers of speech. It cites a survey to determine what types of speech training is being provided to union leaders through University Workers' Education Programs. Workers' Education pertains to any planned educational activity tackled by an institution of higher education and a labor union. Techniques used at Michigan State University in Workers' Education are presented. |
