| Abstrakt: |
The author offers his opinion on the question of which organization is best suited to lead the international museum sector: the American Association of Museums (AAM) or the International Council of Museums (ICOM). He argues that this is not the right question because the AAM does not, in the first place, aspire to world museum leadership. He suggests instead that the right question is how the two institutions can work together more effectively to create a strong global museum community. |
