Abstrakt: The article presents a study which examines the verbal behaviors of supervisors and speech clinicians during microcounselling. The study used the eighty-six three-minute recorded microsupervisory sessions as stimuli for the analysis of the verbal behaviors of supervisors and clinicians. Interactional analysis showed that the supervisors talked 53 per cent of the time compared clinicians who talked 47 per cent of the time but positive reinforcement of the clinician was greater.
