The synthesis of enantiopure donors ( R,R) and ( S,S)- vic -bis(hydroxymethyl)-BEDT-TTF (BEDT-TTF = bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene) and the crystal structure of novel chiral crystal α′-[( S,S)- vic -bis(hydroxymethyl)-BEDT-TTF]2ClO4 is described.
