The article examines the language revolution launched by social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. According to the author, the invasion of the Internet has changed the way that the Facebook generation thinks and communicates. The author adds that Twitter fanatics think in characters rather than words, express with emoticons, and communicate in a mishmash of languages. |
