The article focuses on Gabriela Mistral, Chilean professional writer and intellectual, who have written more than five hundred prose texts from 1905 to 1957. It mentions that her works described the artistic vision and socio-political movements in Latin America, U.S. and Western Europe in the first half of the twentieth century. It mentions that her writings from 1905 to 1922, before working in the rural public educational system in Mexico, proved her public intellect and being a modern writer. |
