| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the ComPair project which aims to build a new and original approach for continuous health monitoring, non-destructive assessment and repair of composites in surface transport. The project is co-funded by the European Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) over 3 years which has developed a dual-purpose non-destructive technology (NDT) based on acoustic emission (AE) and long-range ultrasonic (LRU) guided waves for health monitoring of full-scale structures. |
