The article discusses the collaboration among the authors, all library faculty members at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), to create a program around U.S. Constitution Day. The project focused on a debate of protecting hate speech under the First Amendment by the SIUC debate team. Other program activities included creating library exhibits, distributing copies of the U.S. Constitution, and promoting relevant library materials. |
