| Abstrakt: |
The article provides an overview of the economic policy of South Africa for 2012. The budget proposes to speed up the pace of fiscal consolidation and reduce budget deficit for the government's financial credibility. The deficit reduction and infrastructure targets are well received by business markets. Moreover, the country has climbed up the mining policy rankings from Fraser Institute to 54th place in 2011-12 from 67th place in 2010/11. |
