Abstrakt:	The article presents ASSC-1 Communications Group Pty Ltd.'s to develop a four-fiber pair submarine cable system from Perth to Singapore spanning a distance of 4,600 kilometers. The ASSC-1 system is described to have a 6.4 terabits per second design capacity, and will have three express fiber pairs between Peth and Singapore and one omnibus fiber pair between Perth, Jakarta and Singapore. Installation of the ASSC-1 system is presented to be performed by Huawei Marine Networks Co., Ltd.
