| Abstrakt: | An interview with the Iranian musician Mohsen Namjoo is presented. Particular focus is given to how his music, which incorporates classical Persian poetry and Western melodies, offended the Iranian regime, thus forcing him to live in exile. Additional topics discussed include how he learned to play the setar, how music has become a form of protest in Iran and insights on how he constructs his melodies. |
