| Abstrakt: |
An interview with Viktor Vasilyev, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation at the United Nations (UN), is presented. When asked about the reason behind the stagnation of the Conference on Disarmament (CD), Vasilyev says that the reasons are political and that there is a need to balance interests among countries. He states that CD has already made an impact in maintaining international peace and security. He also shares that priorities of Russia in the issue of disarmament. |
