Abstrakt: | The article reports on research conducted to examine the changes in cardiovascular and neuromuscular performances induced by eight weeks of basic training (BT) period followed by eight weeks of special training period (STP) in 57 male soldiers. They found that the physical fitness of the soldiers improved during eight weeks of BT and that to see optimal results in STP it may be reasonable to include a structured physical training with greater intensity and training volume than that used in BT. |
