Examines the molecular mechanisms involved in the sexual dimorphic expression of hepatic alcohol dehydrogenase in gonadectomized and hypophysectomized male and female rats. Data indicating that the pattern of growth hormone secretion in concert with thyroid hormone is principally responsible for regulation of hepatic antidiuretic hormone mRNA. |
