We examined the influences of different spheres of temperature on cellular suspensions of the solid Ehrlich-Carcinoma in isotonic and anisotonic solutions. The most favourable sphere of temperature for the preservation of tumour cells in these mediums was observed between +2° and +4° C. Cells of the Ehrlich-Carcinoma swollen in distilled water proved at the temperatures we examined (−10°, −20° and −30°C) to be more sensible towards the influence of the cold than shrunken cells or cells with physiological water contents. At the temperature of body only tumour cells suspended in isotonic solution could be inoculated successfully. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
