Abstrakt: Results are reported of the study of systems averaging the azimuthal inhomogeneities of gain and suppressing aberration and polarization wavefront distortions formed in active amplifying elements of a repetitively pulsed Nd:YAG laser. A twofold decrease of depolarization in the amplified radiation was obtained. An optimum filling of active elements due to correction of radiation distortions in the near field was realized.
