Abstrakt:	A new method for the electron microscopical demonstration of a nonspecific carboxylesterase, using heavy metal, is described. The method was tested on the liver and kidney of the mouse. Among several substrates examined, 8-acetoxyquinoline is especially recommended. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
