| Abstrakt: | The interaction between glycosaminoglycans and collagen was determined in 24 subjects with malignant melanomas. The analysis indicates that the ratio of hexosamine to collagen was higher in the center of the tumor than in the outer areas. Our findings could result from dysregulation of the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycanes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
